their daily Bible readings. You, along with a great host of consecrated Christians, will be thinking many of the same spiritual thoughts at the same time. That will enable the Lord to do some unanticipated things in people's lives and issue forth some wonderful unexpected blessings.
Prepare yourself to concentrate on the Scriptures you are about to read. We would suggest that you find the scripture in the Bible located at www.blueletterbible.org (copy and paste in your address bar) (select your favorite translation) and if you would like, find the audio symbol at the top of the page, turn on your speakers and listen to the Bible reading.
It would be good to follow along the audible reading with your Bible opened before you.
PRAYER LIST
Another recommended spiritual practice is to keep a prayer list. Write down the names of people with special needs, yourself and your family and special concerns pertaining to your family, Intercessory prayer should be made on behalf of other people and objects of prayer such as your Church, your Country and the World. Remember to pray for peace. A very, very important part of your prayer list should be the names of lost people. Designate a special place in your prayer listings for your kindred who are not Christians, along with your non-Christian neighbors, fellow-workers, friends, associates and acquaintances. Be alert to anyone
else that the Lord impresses upon you that you should also pray for them. Pray that the Lord might enable you to aid them in becoming a Christian.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Included in each issue of the monthly Newsletter, "Christian Ventures News and Views", you will be provided with various approaches to help you win people to the Lord. The Devil will try to tell you that you just can't do this. We will help you see that it is not really that hard but is a real pleasure when done correctly. You can depend on us to help you fulfill your part of the Great Commission. Pray toward that end. Your heavenly rewards depend on your success in this venture.
PRAYER JOURNAL
May we suggest that you get a loose leaf note book and make it your Prayer Journal. You could use the same notebook that you use for keeping your prayer lists.
What we suggest is that you plan four columns on each page. You can do this one page at a time and then when you need another page you can do the four columns on it.
In the first narrow column write down the date that you made a particular request of the Lord. In the second column make a notation briefly identifying that request so you can remember it. In the third column write down how the Lord answered that particular request. In the fourth narrow column, write down the date you were provided your answer. Circle that date when you have thanked, blessed and praised the Lord for hearing and
answering your prayer.
These devotional exercises are important enough for you to set aside the necessary time to give the Lord your attention and to learn from Him. Your day will be enhanced and your life will be transformed. As you grow in the Lord, you will be unusually blessed. God plus one is a majority especially if that one is a committed Christian. That's the reason the Bible teaches that
As you begin to carry on your regular daily affairs, remember to maintain a thankful, prayerful spirit.
ENLIST AND SPONSOR OTHERS
Each participant in Global Ventures For Christ is asked to enlist three other people in these undertakings. Each person you enlist will be eternally grateful to you for opening the door for them to receive the many blessings that will be theirs as they become prepared to serve the Lord in a better way. You will be given additional guidance at the end of this Christian Document to help you know how to enlist others in Global Ventures For Christ.
REMEMBER:
If you and I do not increase our efforts for the Lord, nothing will improve. The alternative is the status-quo. The only thing is the status-quo doesn't maintain the same conditions. Things keep on deteriorating. We must act now to prevent that. The voice of God in each natural cataclysmic event says "Change. Get involved. Follow me and serve me. Else, you will not enjoy the consequences."
