Fundraising

New Fundraiser!
The Bowie Band Boosters are trying a new fundraiser and we need your help. This fundraiser is "economy proof" in that we get paid for hours worked and not sales. The Band Booster have lost, for various reasons, a number of fundraisers this year (Trader's Village, Friday Cookie Sales, and Movie Studio Grill card) and MUST make up a significant shortfall in our budget. Without your help, the Booster will not be able to meet our goals.

We believe that Cowboys Parking can help the Band Boosters support the Band. We are parking cars at the new Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, and the Band Boosters get $10 per hour for each Volunteer that works. We have signed up for 2 more events with more to come in the coming months. We need 25 total people for each event - the Band has AT LEAST 15 shifts to fill for each event with other groups (Orchestra, Barnett Band, etc) filling the rest.

SHIFT TIMES

The Shift Times listed above are the approximate times we will be working at Cowboys Stadium. Usually, we will carpool from Bowie 1 HOUR prior to the listed START time for an event, and we should be back at Bowie 30 minutes to 1 HOUR after the listed END time. For Bowie Band Booster Volunteer hours, we will credit each Volunteer who works an entire shift the time from when we leave Bowie until we return to Bowie.

SIGN-UP (learn how to sign up using Charms)

There are two options for signing up.

  1. PREFERRED Option - Charms - This linked PDF shows exactly how to use Charms to sign-up for working Cowboys Parking Shifts. Please read the directions carefully and also the instructions on Charms. Make sure to sign-up with an email address you will check - since that is the email address I will send all additional information to.

  2. Email me (Jens Jungmann - jens@jungmann.us) that you would like to work and I will enter your Shift into Charms. In your email please INCLUDE your name, email, phone number, organization you are working for and the shift you want to work. I will respond ASAP indicating if there was a shift available to work.
