The purpose of this Venture is to esteem Jesus Christ by establishing and carrying on a Global Peace Venture.
This will be attempted by leading Christians and other people in the world to concentrate on the character of the Prince of Peace and on His principles of peace. The followers of Jesus Christ will be challenged to accept, occupy and function in their God-given role as Peacemakers.
Today's society is saturated with thoughts of violence and war. By focusing attention on the Prince of Peace and His principles of peace, the focus of people's attention can be changed from war to peace. People need to be led to pray for peace and to work together to accomplish peace with justice in our world.
The Prince of Peace working through His informed and dedicated followers has the ability to break the cycle of violence that
characterizes our day. The natural out-growth and development of people who commit themselves to serve the Lord is to cooperate with the Lord as He proposes to make changes in the world and improve the conditions of every person on this Earth.
An appropriate spin-off of Global Ventures For Christ is the establishment of an organization called "Peacemakers International."
Its purpose is to enlist people from around the world to support a peace with justice effort through their prayers, influence and combined efforts.
Think-tanks will be established in proximity to where wars and discord exist in various locations around the world. Each think-tank will solicit suggestions and guidance from people at the grass-roots and put forth their best efforts to discover the underlying causes of the discord. No stone will be left unturned to relieve the tensions through discussions, negotiations, arbitrations, recommended compromises and whatever other
assistance can be given.
Global Ventures For Christ will promote fifth Sunday special services to promote peace with justice to be held in every Mosque, Cathedral, Shrine, Synagogue, Temple, Church, Chapel and any and every other place of worship wherever located around the world. Lessons, reports, messages, sermons, exhortations and discussions concerning the issues confronting our day could be featured along with a special emphasis on the establishment of peace with justice around the world.
These and other initiatives can be launched near the dawning of the year 2007 for the glory of the Lord and the improvement of the conditions of our beloved world if all of us begin immediately to gather our forces and set out to accomplished these goals.
Let's all do these things together now especially for the benefit of our children as well as every other living person in today's world.
